A deeper dive into my personal and professional journey:

I was always certain that I wanted to work with people. Throughout the course of my life I have grown interested in the unique ways that each individual presents and that led me to pursue a doctoral degree in clinical psychology at the University of La Verne. I have worked in several different settings including government agencies, nonprofit organizations, college counseling centers, and am happy to have found my way to specializing in working with postpartum individuals and couples. My doctoral dissertation work focused on social support in intimate relationships and its link to both marital and life satisfaction. I continue to focus on working with couples to improve communication, strengthen relational understanding, and deepen their connection with one another as well as with themselves.

Therapeutically, I have an integrative style that is led by a person-centered approach- I borrow techniques from Narrative Therapy, ACT, CBT, Strength-Based, and Solution-Focused Therapy techniques.

I value unique human experiences and differences due to cultural background, which is why I am confident that being flexible with a therapeutic perspective is the most powerful way to approach each therapeutic relationship.

I specialize in working with postpartum parents and couples looking to improve or adapt to their current relationships. I have a special interest in working with people experiencing different life transitions.

I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist (#33628) offering teletherapy in the state of California. I offer a free 15-minute consultation to make sure that this is the right fit for you and to answer any questions you may have.

When I am not in the therapy room, I am a wife and mother of two young boys who are my greatest accomplishment so far! My own transition into motherhood is what sparked my interest working with peripartum individuals and couples and it is what continues to guide my professional work today. On a regular day, you'll find me spending time with my family and friends, enjoying some good food (more specifically- tacos), and taking in the warm sun I am so lucky to have in LA!
